Terms and Conditions
Last updated: April 23, 2026.
These terms govern use of the Internet Health Check extension, Pro features, and the related web portal. They are intended to reflect the current system behavior as implemented today.
1. Service
Internet Health Check is a browser-based internet monitoring tool. It provides status checks, latency monitoring, event history, charts, exports, diagnostics, and paid Pro features exposed through the extension and this web portal.
2. Free and Pro access
The free version includes core monitoring features. Pro unlocks additional features such as extended retention, advanced charts, smart insights, additional targets, exports, quiet hours, and speed test tools, subject to the current product implementation.
Pro access is controlled through license verification. A valid license may include a plan type, expiration date, activation history, and related account information.
3. License rules
- You may use the software and any purchased Pro access only in accordance with these terms.
- You must not resell, share, copy, bypass, reverse engineer for the purpose of circumventing licensing, or abuse the license verification system.
- You must not misuse admin endpoints, tokens, support forms, or checkout flows.
4. Payments and subscriptions
When enabled, payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. Licenses are created or updated after the backend receives a successful checkout event or subscription event.
The current system supports monthly, yearly, and lifetime-style plans in code, but self-service cancellation, refund, and billing-management flows are not fully implemented in this portal. If you need billing help, use the support page.
In development mode, the system may generate test licenses without real payment if Stripe is not configured.
5. Availability and changes
The service is provided on an as-available basis. Features, plans, technical limits, endpoints, and workflows may change over time. The operator may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service.
6. Data and responsibility
The extension stores monitoring history locally in the browser unless you export or share it yourself. You are responsible for any custom endpoints you configure and for how you use exported data, reports, backups, and administrative access.
7. Support
Support requests submitted through this portal should be truthful and limited to legitimate service issues. The operator may decline abusive, fraudulent, or irrelevant requests.
8. Acceptable use
- No unlawful use or interference with the service
- No attempt to overload, disrupt, or probe restricted endpoints
- No impersonation, fraudulent checkout activity, or submission of misleading support claims
9. Disclaimers
Network diagnostics and speed results are estimates based on available endpoints, browser capabilities, and environmental factors. They may vary by device, route, congestion, hosting provider behavior, or third-party service availability.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, and the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or data-loss damages arising from use of the service.
11. Changes to these terms
The operator may revise these terms as the system evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
12. Contact
For licensing, billing, or support issues, use the support page in this portal.
